Young Speakers Bootcamp (Grades 3-5)

Service Description

Our Young Speakers Bootcamp is designed for students in Grades 3–5 who want to strengthen their communication skills, build confidence, and have fun doing it. This camp gives students the chance to practice speaking in a supportive environment while learning how to organize their thoughts, think on their feet, and communicate with greater clarity. It is a great fit for students who are new to speech and debate as well as those who want more guided summer practice. Students will receive 15 total hours of instruction, allowing them to make meaningful progress over the course of the camp. Through engaging activities, speaking drills, practice rounds, and personalized coaching, students will continue developing poise, expression, and confidence. This camp is designed to help students grow not just as speakers, but also as thinkers who can share their ideas more effectively in academic and social settings. At the end of the camp, students will be offered the opportunity to compete at a tournament where they can put their skills into action and gain valuable experience. This adds an exciting goal for students to work toward while giving families a chance to see their growth. Parents are encouraged to register for one or more camps, as each camp will be uniquely different and provide new material, new practice, and a new experience each time.
