Speech and Debate Camp (Grades 6+)

Service Description

Speech & Debate Summer Camp is the ultimate summer experience for students in Grades 6 and up who are ready to find their voice, sharpen their arguments, and compete with confidence. Designed specifically for the world of speech and debate, this camp gives students the skills, strategies, and stage presence they need to succeed, whether they're stepping into their first round or looking to level up their game. Through fast-paced drills, structured debate rounds, speech practice, and competitive simulations, students will develop the tools that define great debaters and speakers: sharp reasoning, persuasive delivery, quick thinking, and the ability to engage any audience or opponent. With 15 total hours of instruction, students get meaningful, focused training while staying energized and challenged throughout. Over the course of the program, students will build critical skills including constructing and defending arguments, flowing and responding to opposing cases, organizing speeches for maximum impact, projecting confidence in front of judges and peers, and thinking on their feet under competitive pressure. The goal is to send every student home sharper, more self-assured, and genuinely excited about the activity. At the end of camp, students may register for a tournament experience where they can put their skills to the test in a fun, accessible, and low-stakes competitive format, a great way for families to celebrate how far their student has come. Parents are also welcome to enroll students in multiple camps, as each session is uniquely designed to offer a fresh and different experience, making it a worthwhile investment for returning competitors season after season.
