Service Description
Middle School Speakers Bootcamp is the perfect summer experience for students in Grades 6-8 who are ready to strengthen their confidence and grow as speakers. This camp is designed to help students build public speaking skills in a way that feels engaging, supportive, and challenging at the right level. Through interactive activities, speaking drills, guided practice, and dynamic presentation exercises, students will learn how to communicate their ideas with greater clarity, confidence, and presence. Students will receive 15 total hours of instruction, giving them meaningful time to develop their skills while staying actively engaged throughout the camp. Over the course of the program, they will practice key communication skills such as speaking with strong volume and expression, organizing their thoughts, presenting in front of a group, listening and responding thoughtfully, and becoming more polished and self-assured speakers. The goal is to help students become more comfortable using their voice while developing skills that will serve them in school, leadership opportunities, and beyond. At the end of the camp, students may register for a tournament experience that gives them the opportunity to apply what they have learned in a fun and accessible format. This gives families a chance to celebrate student growth in an exciting, low-pressure way. Parents are also invited to register for one or more camps, since each camp will be uniquely different and offer a fresh experience for returning students.
