General Program Questions

  • Each weekly class is built around engagement, skill-building, and performance. Students start with warm-up games, learn new techniques, and participate in fun speaking or debating activities related to that week's focus. Classes are tailored to specific grade ranges:

    • Grades K–2 (Forensics Exploration): focus on speaking games, storytelling, and performance

    • Grades 3–5 and 6–8 (Speech & Debate Club): explore a variety of formal events like SPAR, Impromptu, and Storytelling, with plenty of student participation and feedback

All classes follow a 30-week curriculum and include 8 Challenge Weeks for bonus creative practice.

  • Online classes are conducted live via Zoom, using structured slides, interactive games, and breakout rooms when needed. Students are actively coached, participate in real-time, and receive personal feedback. All students need is a quiet space, reliable internet, and a device with camera and mic. Parents are also given tips on how to support students from home.

  • Challenge Weeks are themed performance assignments that run alongside regular classes. During these weeks, students complete fun take-home or video-based challenges like writing a speech of gratitude for Thanksgiving or delivering a humorous rebuttal for April Fools’. These encourage creativity, public speaking practice, and social sharing. Students are encouraged (but not required) to tag Forensics Forever on social media for a chance to be featured!

 Enrollment & Tuition

  • Yes! While we encourage full-year registration for consistency and savings, families are welcome to register by semester. The year is split into two 15-week semesters, and pricing is available per semester or for the full year at a discounted rate.

  • No problem at all! We offer a fair prorated discount for mid-year enrollments and will schedule a catch-up session to ensure your child is brought up to speed on key skills or content they may have missed. We’ll also provide any necessary handouts or resources so they feel confident jumping in.

  • Yes! Families enrolling multiple children or adding enrichment courses may be eligible for bundled pricing or custom discounts. Please contact us to discuss your situation—we’re happy to help make speech and debate accessible for your family.

 Coaching, Tournaments, & Confidence

  • Tournaments are encouraged but not required. We believe competition builds confidence and gives students a chance to apply what they’re learning in a real-world setting. Even students who are nervous at first often grow to love it! We support first-time competitors with extra prep and lots of encouragement.

  • Private coaching is available to all students for focused, one-on-one support. Sessions are 25 minutes long and cost $50. Students can use them to prepare for tournaments, refine a specific event, or work on general confidence and delivery. You can book as few or as many as you'd like throughout the year.

  • That’s exactly why we’re here! Many of our students start out shy or nervous, and within a few weeks, they’re confidently participating in class and even signing up for tournaments. We take a supportive, no-pressure approach that helps students find their voice at their own pace. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to try!

 🐐 G.O.A.T Track

  • The G.O.A.T Track is Forensics Forever’s student recognition and achievement system that celebrates progress in speech and debate tournaments. G.O.A.T stands for “Greatest of All Time”, and students move through 5 levels based on their participation and success in competitions. It’s our way of acknowledging hard work, growth, and excellence in a fun, goal-oriented format!

  • Read more about our G.O.A.T Track HERE.

  • Every time a student levels up, they receive a digital badge via email, are featured on our Wall of Fame, and receive a personalized shoutout in class. Once a student achieves G.O.A.T status, they receive a limited-edition goat plushie and permanent recognition on our Hall of Champions (website and social media highlight).

  • Yes—both in-person and virtual tournaments count as long as they are official, recognized competitions (hosted by Forensics Forever or a third-party with judge feedback and rankings). Students simply need to report their results and submit feedback forms to receive credit.

  • Absolutely! The G.O.A.T Track is designed to celebrate progress over time. Every tournament they attend builds skills and gets them closer to the next milestone. Even students who start with no experience can reach G.O.A.T level with consistent practice and support from our coaches.
