Terms & Conditions for Free Trial Classes
By registering for Forensics Forever’s Free Trial Speech and Debate Class (the “Trial Class”), you (“Parent/Guardian”) agree to the following terms on behalf of yourself and your child (“Student”):
Parental Consent for Media
I grant Forensics Forever permission to photograph and/or record my Student during the Trial Class and to use my Student’s name, image, and recorded performance in promotional materials, including print materials, websites, online platforms, and social media.
I understand that I may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing Dontae.hill@forensicsforever.org. Upon receipt of my written request, Forensics Forever will discontinue future use of my Student’s likeness and remove digital media within 30 days. I acknowledge that Forensics Forever cannot remove or control media already downloaded, shared, or saved by third parties prior to the removal request.
Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
I confirm that my Student is in good health and able to safely participate in the Trial Class. I understand that participation carries inherent risks, including but not limited to minor physical injury or vocal strain.
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Forensics Forever to contact emergency services. I acknowledge that Forensics Forever is not responsible for medical treatment or associated costs.
I release and hold harmless Forensics Forever, its coaches, staff, volunteers, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from participation in the Trial Class, except as prohibited by applicable law.
Free Trial Class and Attendance Policy
The Trial Class is offered free of charge and is limited to one trial class per student unless otherwise approved by Forensics Forever.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled Trial Class, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we may offer the space to another student.
Failure to attend without notice may impact eligibility for future trial classes, programs, camps, or events offered by Forensics Forever.
Because the Trial Class is provided at no cost, no refunds, credits, or transfers are applicable.
Temporary Shift to Online Instruction
If an instructor becomes ill, a substitute is not available, or unforeseen circumstances arise, including building issues, dangerous weather conditions, or other events beyond Forensics Forever’s reasonable control, Forensics Forever reserves the right to move the Trial Class online.
Families will be notified by email or text as soon as reasonably possible and provided with the necessary login information. Online instruction will be considered a full and complete delivery of the Trial Class.
Agreement
By registering for the Trial Class, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of myself and my Student.
