Terms & Conditions for Free “Intro to Speech & Debate” Class
By registering for Forensics Forever’s complimentary Intro to Speech & Debate class (the “Class”), you (“Parent/Guardian”) agree to the following terms on behalf of yourself and your child (“Student”):
1. Parental Consent for Media
I grant Forensics Forever permission to photograph and/or videotape my Student during the Class and to use my Student’s name, image, and recorded performance in any promotional materials (print, online, social media, etc.). I understand that I may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing Dontae.hill@forensicsforever.org; upon receipt, Forensics Forever will cease future use of my Student’s likeness and remove digital media within 30 days. I acknowledge that Forensics Forever cannot control images or recordings already downloaded or shared by third parties prior to removal.
2. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
I affirm that my Student is in good health and able to participate safely in the Class. I understand there are inherent risks (e.g., tripping, vocal strain) and agree that in the event of a medical emergency, Forensics Forever may call 911 but is not responsible for treatment or related costs. I hereby release and hold harmless Forensics Forever, its coaches, volunteers, and agents from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from injury, loss, or damage sustained during the Class, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
3. No-Show & Cancellation Policy
The Intro Class is offered free of charge but space is limited.
Cancellation: If you cannot attend, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer your spot to another student.
No-Show: Failing to cancel or attend without notice may forfeit eligibility for future complimentary sessions.
4. Temporary Shift to Online Instruction
If an instructor becomes ill, a substitute is unavailable, or unforeseen conditions (e.g., severe weather) arise, Forensics Forever reserves the right to move the Class online. We will notify you via email or text as soon as possible with access instructions to ensure your Student does not miss the session.
