Terms & Conditions for Trial Classes
By registering for Forensics Forever’s Trial Speech and Debate Class (the “Trial Class”), you (“Parent/Guardian”) agree to the following terms on behalf of yourself and your child (“Student”):
1. Parental Consent for Media
I grant Forensics Forever permission to photograph and/or record my Student during the Trial Class and to use my Student’s name, image, and recorded performance in promotional materials including print, online platforms, and social media. I understand that I may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing Dontae.hill@forensicsforever.org
. Upon receipt of my written request, Forensics Forever will discontinue future use of my Student’s likeness and remove digital media within 30 days. I acknowledge that Forensics Forever cannot remove or control media already downloaded, shared, or saved by third parties prior to the removal request.
2. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
I confirm that my Student is in good health and able to safely participate in the Trial Class. I understand that participation carries inherent risks such as minor physical injury or vocal strain. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Forensics Forever to contact emergency services. I acknowledge that Forensics Forever is not responsible for medical treatment or associated costs. I release Forensics Forever, its coaches, staff, volunteers, and agents from any claims or liabilities related to injury, loss, or damage occurring during the Trial Class, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
3. Payment, No-Show, and Refund Policy
The Trial Class requires a registration fee of fifteen dollars.
All payments are final. No refunds will be issued unless the Trial Class is canceled due to insufficient enrollment.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we may offer the space to another student. Failure to attend without notice may impact eligibility for future trial opportunities.
4. Temporary Shift to Online Instruction
If an instructor becomes ill, a substitute is not available, or unforeseen circumstances arise such as building issues or dangerous weather conditions, Forensics Forever reserves the right to move the Trial Class online. Families will be notified by email or text as soon as possible with login details. Online instruction will be considered a full and complete delivery of the Trial Class.
